I am Freezing

3rd day with Nicole.....
Nicole had another fun-filled day...Mines Wonderland with Hwee Leng and family.

Morning, we woke up at around 7.30am. Usual routine of brushing teeth, making bed and then Mom made Nicole her milk. I had breakfast and then told Nicole her timetable for the day which includes writing number 21 and 22, colouring, watching a sing a long DVD I bought her on Sunday night.

4th uncle, auntie and Hwee Leng is taking her out to Mines Wonderland today. Great! at least her day is packed. I came back at 6.30pm just in time when they came back and I was greeted with a wailing and crying Nicole. What happened? just an hour ago when 4th uncle called me, I could still her a happy chirpy Nicole in the car. Basically...Nicole fell asleep on the journey back home and upon reaching the house, they woke her up and obviously she was irritated as she stil wants to sleep. All the grown-ups could not handle so it is left to Ku-ku to calm her down. Took her to the room and calm her down and she was ok but still not in the best mood. She was trying to prolong her bad mood and did not want to show others that she is feeling better.

Anyway, we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner...(imagine - 3 dinner out in a row), Nicole was obviously feeling better and started to be mischevious again. I think 4th uncle/aunt and Hwee Leng had their hands full with her this afternoon. We came home, Nicole drew some pictures including one of Daddy, Mummy, Daniel and her.

Time for bed, more bed time stories...more made up princess stories...I am running out of ideas - I was telling her a shorter version of the Beauty & The Beast story and Nicole spotted it immediately and said that my story is not accurate. For the 2nd nite consecutively I failed to get her to sleep first as I intended to do some of my own work after Nicole fall asleep. But I could hardly keep my eyes open after reading all the nursery rhymes and the fairy tales. So snore snore......

I am also in polar land for the next 2 weeks. Nicole needs the air con and I usually sleep without. So I am literally freezing in my room, all covered up in thick blanket and Nicole would be kicking all her blackets away. At 3am, I woke up freezing and thot I could just turn off the air-con and turn of the fan since the room is rather cool......but no no...after 30 mins, Princess Nicole woke up and say she can't sleep. No choice...back to polar land....
