It's easier to forgive than to ask permission....

A collegue told me this interesting phrase today. I guess I need to paint a clearer context to it. Well, it just means that if we ask, confirm, verify, inform before we do something, sometimes it can never get done or we don't get permission to do it. Thus, if we don't ask and just do it......hope for the best...if it turns out well, fantastic, no harm done....everyone happy but if it does not turn out well...I guess all you can say is ooops sorry and hope the person will forgive you. So, is it easier to forgive than to ask permission? Should that be how we operate?
I think I can only give myself 6/10 for Patience today. Also my head was kinda felt a bit heavy when I am a little frustrated. I actually manage to do No 1-4 pretty well but no. 5 was a bit out. I let my frustration show in my voice and in my expression. I tend to repeat or should I say nag especially when I don't think the person is getting it. Thus I end up also being pushy too, I guess. But what do you do when people just don't deliver to you what they promised. Hmmm extremely frustrating....but I must remember PATIENCE!!
